North beach had a further three reserve players making a start in the first team due to injuries and absences. Well done to Heath and Merlin in your first start and also Russell in your second start for the season.

Belmont went out to a 2 nil lead in a game that was very even. Mid way through the second half North beach slowly started to get on top with Heath scoring from messy ball in the front of the goal and 5 minutes later Russell scored after chesting the ball and volleying it into the net. Great result guys and I am looking forward to next season

Reserves Vs Belmont Villa

A high scoring game that could have gone either way. Belmont scored first but North beach soon fought back and at one stage were leading 4 to 2.

Early in the second half Steve Andrew scored his second and as he was needed for the first team bench he was immediately subbed for Andrew Smith.

Late in the game the scores where tied at 4 all however as a result of messy ball in front of the goal Daryl was able to push the ball into the net to give North beach a well earned win.

Well done to the Andrew Smith, Mike Kenny and Potty from the U18 team who all played very well today and will certainly get a lot of game time for the reserves next year.

Also well done to all the guys who played for the reserves this season s you all had a part to play in winning the league
