North Beach Soccer Club - Match Report U15 Girls Vs Lynwood

On a sunny morning at 8:00am the North Beach under 15 Girls team turned up to do battle with Lynwood. Like previous weeks the team was under strength with only 10 fit players present. Having won their previous two games with only 9 players the team felt confident that they would perform well.
Due to heavy dew over night the game started in very wet and slippery conditions. Both teams had opportunities at scoring but neither could finish off.
Half time saw the score nil all. North Beach were growing in confidence with Laura coming out of goal for the second half and Sam going into goal. This turned out to be a very strategic move by Coach Kevin with Sam making some fantastic saves and Laura scoring two goals.
Final score 2 Nil to North Beach who remain unbeaten and second on the ladder.
Well done girls and I look forward to next week’s game and hopefully a full squad
