Linesperson Course
As a parent you will inevitably be asked to act as linesperson at one of your child's soccer games.
When it is your turn will you feel confident in performing this task?
How do you use the flags to communicate with the referee?
Do you understand the off side rule?
Would you like to know more about the role of the linesperson?
Come along and find out at a course especially designed for parents. It will be run by Mick Frost, an experienced referee, player, and coach at North Beach Soccer Club. The course will cover the basic knowledge you need to act as linesperson and is an opportunity to find out more about the rules of the game and how they are applied.

Amateurs Pre Season Training
Seniors will start training at Charles Riley on Tuesday, 12th Feb.
Start time 6:45pm, finish 8:00pm.
Charles Riley Reserve
Cnr of Charles Riley Rd and Williamson Ave.
This will run every Tuesday and Thursday until the end of the season. If there is any alternative training, you will be advised nearer the time.

Treasa and Simon will be at the club this week to collect registration fees for senior players.
- Men - $250
- Women - $180
- Students - $160
You need to:
- provide a copy of valid photo id, plus bring the original document to be sighted as well.
- have a Digital photo taken. Stu has kindly offered to take these before training on Wednesday 14th March (Ladies) Thursday 15th March (Men). So there is no need to go out and get some done especially.
- bring a minimum payment deposit (see below)
If you do not have these things then your application cannot be processed, so on your head be it.
Deposit
As always we will accept a deposit payment of $100 or more to ensure your registration is processed in time to play for the first game of the season. The due date for this is 21st March.
Full Payment Due
Full payment of fees is required before the first game of the season, which will be different depending on the team you play for. Be warned we will be monitoring it! No Exceptions!
Money Troubles
If you have difficult making payment before the relevant dates, please see Treasa or Simon Collins to arrange a payment plan.

Junior Coaches Wanted
Interested in coaching a Junior team in 2008 ?
We have a couple of vacancies for junior coaches : the 14’s and the 16’s
You can do a duet or a solo and benefit from the following: players who coach a Junior team:
- have their player registration fees paid
- are offered Football West Accredited coaching courses
- have access to the Clubs resource library (books, videos, DVD’s etc)
- are encouraged to attend informative Coach/Manager Forums during the season
The development of Junior players within a club ensures it’s continued growth and healthy future. You will not be alone full support from the Committee and the rest of the club.

Ladies Training
Senior Women's training will start on Wednesday 20th February at 6.30pm. Bring your trainers rather than footie boots, as the ground is really hard. Also please return any kit you may still have on this day.
New players are welcome to join us for a kick around and see if you like us!! Treasa will be at the club from 6pm to meet any new players or you can call her on 9243 4128.
Amateurs First Pre Season Game
Attention all senior players. We are playing Maccabi on the Sunday the 9th of March at 1pm & 3pm.
Please spread the word and keep in touch if you're available. The other pre season dates will be released shortly.
Football is Back for 2008
Amateurs and Social pre-season starts: Saturday 9th February 2008 10.00 am
Every Saturday we will be at Mullaloo beach . Each Tuesday and Thursday we will be at Charles Riley Reserve from 6.45 pm.
